The brief
- Ranked second worldwide in large-scale storage cell shipments in H1 2026, behind CATL.
- Shipped 35.1 GWh in 2024 on CNY 12.9B revenue; filed for a Hong Kong listing in 2025.
- Its Heze park, opened August 2026, is built only for long-duration storage cells.
Technical approach
Fewer, much larger cells
A 1,175 Ah cell holds about 3.8 kWh, several times a standard storage cell, so a container needs far fewer cells, joints and sensors.
Lithium iron phosphate
LFP is heavier than EV nickel chemistries but cheap, long-lived and far less prone to fire, which matters more for a stationary grid battery.
Cells to containers in-house
HiTHIUM sells cells and complete liquid-cooled containers (∞Power), plus hardened versions for desert heat and dust.
Highly automated lines
Its newest lines exceed 15 GWh each with over 95% automation, cutting staff per GWh by 58% versus the previous generation.
