HiTHIUM starts mass production of the 1,175 Ah ∞Cell, the first 1,000 Ah-class storage cell

At the SNEC show in Shanghai, HiTHIUM said its Chongqing base had begun mass-producing the ∞Cell 1175Ah, a lithium iron phosphate cell built for long-duration storage. The cell received UL 1973 and UL 9540A safety certifications at the show.

• Produced at the Chongqing base; development began in 2022.
• UL 1973 and UL 9540A safety certifications from UL Solutions.
• Deal with Israeli EPC firm El-Mor for its first long-duration project in Romania.
