Unified 3D format

Pixar's OpenUSD standard, compatible with CAD and design tools. Omniverse can import from Solidworks, AutoCAD and other platforms.

Physics simulation

Accurate forces and collisions

RTX physics engine simulates gravity, collisions and friction. Robot behavior in simulation matches the real world more closely than without physics.

Sensor emulation

Synthetic lidar, camera, touch

Omniverse emulates sensors with realistic noise and timing. AI trained in simulation can transfer to real robots if sim-to-real gap is small.
