Tesla announces the Tesla Bot humanoid robot at AI Day

At its AI Day, Tesla announced plans for a humanoid Tesla Bot meant for repetitive, boring or dangerous work, starting in its own factories. It would reuse the cars' cameras and self-driving computer and be deliberately slow (about 5 mph) and weaker than a person. There was no prototype yet; a dancer in a costume appeared on stage.
