Synchron launched INTENT (INdependence Through Endovascular Neuroprosthetic Technology), an early feasibility study of its endovascular brain-computer interface with an estimated start in April 2026 and an estimated 10 participants. The minimally invasive Stentrode implant is delivered via catheter through the jugular vein to the brain's superior sagittal sinus, avoiding open surgery.
