Synchron raises $200M Series D to fund pivotal trial and next-generation interface
Synchron raised a $200 million Series D led by Double Point Ventures with ARCH, Khosla, Bezos Expeditions and new investors including Australia's National Reconstruction Fund and Qatar Investment Authority, bringing total funding to $345 million. The capital funds commercialisation of the Stentrode and development of a next-generation interface; 10 patients had been implanted to date.
