Zoox opens free public robotaxi rides in Las Vegas

Zoox launched public rides in its purpose-built robotaxi with no steering wheel or pedals in Las Vegas in September 2025. Riders booked through the Zoox app to travel up to three miles between five designated locations including Resorts World, Luxor and New York-New York hotel. Rides were free initially while the company awaited federal approval to charge fares.
