Southern California Edison contracts 320 MW from Cape Station
Fervo Energy signed two 15-year power purchase agreements with Southern California Edison totalling 320 MW from Cape Station in Utah, the largest geothermal PPA at the time. The first 70 MW phase was expected in 2026 and the second phase in 2028, supporting California's mandate for 1,000 MW of firm, zero-emission baseload power.
