Render Network completes its move from Ethereum to Solana

After six years on Ethereum, the Render Network moved its core infrastructure to Solana, with tokens bridged through Wormhole. Founder Jules Urbach pointed to Solana's speed and low costs; the Foundation set aside grants to cover users' Ethereum fees for the switch.

• The community had voted earlier in 2023 to move the network to Solana.
• Tokens move from Ethereum to Solana through the Wormhole bridge.
• The Foundation set aside 1.14 million RNDR (about $2.5 million) to subsidise users' Ethereum transfer fees for three months.
