Render launches Dispersed, an AI compute subnet on decentralised GPUs, at Breakpoint 2025

At Solana's Breakpoint conference the Render Network Foundation launched Dispersed, the public brand of its compute subnet, for running generative AI models on rented GPUs. OTOY Studio was the first user. The Foundation also reported 63 million frames rendered to date and over 1 million RENDER burned.

• Dispersed went live at dispersed.com the same day.
• OTOY Studio offers over 600 curated artist AI models through it.
• Rendering compute power grew 40%; the GPU marketplace grew 87% year on year.
• A record 276 artist grants were funded.
