Neuralink starts UAE-PRIME, its implant study in the United Arab Emirates

Neuralink began UAE-PRIME, a feasibility study of the N1 implant and R1 robot in the United Arab Emirates, recruiting participants with tetraplegia or tetraparesis. The trial, registered on ClinicalTrials.gov, represents geographic expansion beyond the US PRIME trial.

• Study location: UAE; planned enrollment of approximately 10 participants with cervical spinal cord injury or paralysis.
• Tests implant and robotic system in new geographic population to assess consistency of outcomes and safety across regions.
• Part of Neuralink's global expansion strategy following initial PRIME trial success in the US.
