Two years after its first implant, Neuralink reported 21 people enrolled across its trials worldwide. Participants are using Telepathy for everyday computing tasks, with one using the device up to 17 hours daily. Some achieved information transfer rates exceeding 10 bits per second, matching or exceeding average mouse control performance, and ALS patients achieved typing speeds up to 40 words per minute.
