Life Biosciences reports ER-100 well-tolerated in Phase 1 trial with vision improvements
Life Biosciences announced interim Phase 1 data from its ER-100 trial in three people with open-angle glaucoma (OAG). A single intravitreal injection of ER-100 combined with oral doxycycline was well-tolerated with no dose-limiting toxicities or serious adverse events through Day 56. Two of three participants showed improvements in Humphrey Visual Fields testing, with at least 28% of tested points improving by more than 4 dB. The trial's Data Safety Monitoring Board recommended escalation to Dose Level 2.
