Life Biosciences presents new reprogramming data in liver and eye disease models at ARDD 2025
Life Biosciences showed ER-300 improved multiple liver biomarkers in an animal model of MASH, with reductions in hepatocyte lipid content and liver inflammation. ER-100 restored methylation patterns linked to neuronal regeneration and demonstrated tight delivery to retinal ganglion cells in a nonhuman primate model of NAION, showing restoration of both structure and visual function.
- ER-300 improved ALT, AST, total cholesterol, and bile acids; reduced hepatocyte lipid droplets and improved steatosis in mouse MASH model.
- ER-100 restored methylation patterns with functional enrichment for neuronal regeneration in a nonhuman primate NAION model.
- Both use three Yamanaka factors (Oct4, Sox2, Klf4) to reverse cellular aging; ER-100 scheduled for clinical trials in Q1 2026.
