EigenDA adds a second (dual) quorum and begins serving production rollup traffic

EigenDA opened its mainnet to production rollup traffic with a free tier for approved rollups, and added a dual-quorum model allowing both restaked ETH and staked EIGEN tokens to secure the data. The network was backed by over 230 operators and 3.4M ETH staked, plus more than 44M EIGEN tokens staked after token claims.

• Dual quorum: ETH and EIGEN token holders can stake to secure EigenDA, EIGEN stakers delegate to operators.
• Operators: 230+ running EigenDA, 120,000+ delegating stakers, 3.4M ETH restaked total.
• Production traffic: rollups can access free tier during initial phase, comparable to Layer 2 throughput.
• Future: plans to let rollups stake custom tokens to secure data blobs, Proof of Custody for ETH slashing in development.
