Chesterfield County Planning Commission unanimously backs a permit for the ARC fusion plant

Chesterfield County's Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend a conditional-use permit for ARC, a planned 400 MW fusion plant on a 94-acre Dominion Energy site near Chester, Virginia. The permit limits the site to fusion power; the Board of Supervisors, then state and federal reviews, come next. Google has agreed to buy half the output.
