Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors approves the conditional-use permit for ARC

Chesterfield County's Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the conditional-use permit for ARC, Commonwealth Fusion Systems' planned 400 MW fusion plant estimated at over $2.5B. Construction is expected in the late 2020s and first power in the early 2030s; Google is the first customer.
