Amplifier presents animal data on ATX-304 combined with semaglutide at ENDO 2025
Cambrian BioPipeline companies
Amplifier Therapeutics presented preclinical data from mouse models of diet-induced obesity testing ATX-304, an oral AMPK and mitochondrial activator, alone and combined with semaglutide, as well as after semaglutide withdrawal. The presentation examined body weight, food intake, and body composition across three conditions.
- ATX-304 is a pan-AMPK activator and mitochondrial activator in development for cardiometabolic diseases.
- Study design tested effects on body weight, food intake, and body composition in diet-induced obesity mice.
- Combination with semaglutide and post-semaglutide withdrawal effects were evaluated to understand potential for metabolic rescue.
