The brief
- Neo produces permanent magnets for EV motors and wind turbines.
- Narva is Europe's first sintered-magnet plant: 2,000 t/yr phase 1, operational since May 2025.
- Commercial production began September 2026; targets 15% of EU demand.
Technical approach
Sintered neodymium-iron-boron magnets
Sintered NdFeB magnets are the strongest permanent magnets. Powder metallurgy offers better high-temperature performance than bonded.
Vertical integration in Europe
Narva processes oxides and metals into finished magnets in one facility.
EV traction motors
The facility is optimized for magnet grades and shapes used in EV traction motors, where high coercivity and high-temperature performance are critical.
