The brief
- 40,000 t/yr of magnet capacity at five plants in Ganzhou, Baotou and Ningbo; aiming for 60,000 t/yr by end of 2027.
- Sold 25,282 t of magnets in 2025 (+21%). H1 2026 net profit was 462M yuan, up 52%.
- Robot and servo-motor magnet sales nearly doubled in H1 2026; small batches of humanoid robot motor rotors are shipping.
Technical approach
Strong magnets from rare earths
Sintered NdFeB magnets pack the most magnetic force per gram of any magnet, which makes small, efficient electric motors possible.
Using less dysprosium and terbium
Grain-boundary diffusion puts scarce heavy rare earths only at the edges of each crystal grain, keeping heat resistance while using far less of them.
Moving up to rotors
Beyond bare magnets, it builds magnetic assemblies and complete motor rotors, including for humanoid robots.
Recovering scrap
A 5,000 t/yr line recovers rare earths from magnet scrap, cutting dependence on newly mined ore.
