TSMC begins volume production on its 3 nm N3 process

TSMC marked the start of 3-nanometer volume production at Fab 18 in southern Taiwan with good yields. The N3 process offers up to 1.6 times the logic density of 5 nm and 30-35% lower power consumption at the same speed.
