Tesla unveils the two-seat Cybercab and Robovan at its We, Robot event

At its We, Robot event on October 10, 2024, Tesla unveiled the Cybercab, a two-seat robotaxi with no steering wheel or pedals designed for fully autonomous operation, and the Robovan, a larger autonomous people mover with capacity for up to 20 passengers. It was Tesla's first look at vehicles designed only for driverless operation.

  • Robovan: high-capacity autonomous vehicle for up to 20 passengers; bridges ride-sharing and public transit intersection
