Stargate adds five US sites in Texas, New Mexico and Ohio, bringing planned capacity to nearly 7 GW
OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank announced five new US Stargate data-centre sites: Shackelford County, Texas; Doña Ana County, New Mexico; a Midwest site; and SoftBank sites in Lordstown, Ohio and Milam County, Texas. With Abilene and CoreWeave projects, that brings Stargate to nearly 7 GW of planned capacity and over $400B of investment.
- Three sites developed by Oracle (Shackelford, Doña Ana, Midwest) as part of its 4.5 GW commitment to Stargate.
- SoftBank site in Lordstown on track for operational next year; Milam County developed with SB Energy.
- Total Stargate capacity on pace to reach 10 GW by end of 2028, ahead of schedule.
