OpenAI and Oracle agreed to develop 4.5 GW of additional Stargate data-centre capacity in the US, with the first site in Abilene, Texas. This brings over 5 GW under development running more than 2 million chips, and OpenAI said it now expects to exceed its $500B, 10 GW commitment.
