Rubedo announced a clinical study of RLS-1496 for androgenetic alopecia (male pattern hair loss) beginning October 2026, led by David Pariser, MD, former President of the American Academy of Dermatology. In ex vivo human hair follicles, RLS-1496 increased mean follicle elongation; the highest concentration exceeded finasteride's effect. Initial data expected in H1 2027.
