Neurona, using the new drug name rezanecel, presented updated results from 31 people dosed across two Phase 1/2 trials. Seizure reductions held beyond the one-year mark, and no serious side effects were linked to the cells or the procedure.
- Low dose, one-sided epilepsy with scarring (n=9): 89% median reduction in months 7-12, 78% responders.
- High dose (n=9): 58% median reduction in months 7-12.
- 15 people followed for more than 18 months.
- First EPIC Phase 3 enrolment was then planned for the second half of 2026.
