Redwood Materials raises over $1B Series D led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management
Redwood Materials closed a Series D funding round exceeding $1 billion, co-led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Capricorn's Technology Impact Fund and T. Rowe Price, along with new investors including Caterpillar Venture Capital and Microsoft's Climate Innovation Fund. The capital funds expansion of battery recycling collection, refining capacity and domestic production of battery materials.
