NRC issues a finding of no significant impact for the Long Mott Xe-100 project

The NRC completed its environmental assessment of the Long Mott Generating Station construction permit application for an Xe-100 plant to supply power and steam to Dow's Seadrift, Texas site, in under a year and issued a finding of no significant impact.

• Long Mott will provide both electricity and high-temperature industrial steam to Dow's UCC Seadrift Operations, supporting production of 4+ billion pounds of materials annually.
• The NRC completed the Environmental Assessment with a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) in under one year, ahead of schedule.
• This will be the first grid-scale advanced nuclear reactor serving an industrial site in North America, demonstrating advanced reactors' industrial heat applications.
