Niccolo de Masi becomes IonQ CEO

IonQ's board appointed director Niccolo de Masi as President and CEO, effective immediately, with Peter Chapman staying on as Executive Chair. De Masi, on the board since 2021 and a physicist trained at Cambridge, previously led Glu Mobile and the SPAC dMY Squared Technology Group.

• De Masi physicist (Cambridge B.A./M.S. Physics) with C-suite roles at Resideo, Glu Mobile, Technicolor and early roles at Siemens Solar.
• Led dMY Technology Group III (the SPAC that took IonQ public in 2021) and raised over $3B in equity for public and private companies.
• Peter Chapman transitions to Executive Chair; de Masi's board contributions to strategy prepared him for CEO role.
