Monero (open-source project)Monero network & FCMP++ upgrade
The third FCMP++ and Carrot beta stressnet, released on 25 September as v0.19.0.0-beta.3.0, forked from testnet on 5 October at block 3,102,800. It adds hot-cold wallet support, needed for hardware wallets, plus transaction relay upgrades and RandomX v2 mining. It is incompatible with earlier stressnets, and no mainnet date has been set.
- Fork at block 3,102,800 on 2026-10-05; test network only, no action for XMR holders.
- New: hot-cold wallet support, tx relay v2 changes, RandomX v2.
- On 2026-09-30 a pull request with the code that checks FCMP++ transactions at consensus opened; it is the last one expected for audit phase 3.
- Hardware wallet signing, multisig and transaction proofs still listed as not working.
