Mingyang Smart Energy/50 MW Twin-Rotor Floating Turbine

Mingyang Smart Energy unveiled the design of a 50 MW floating wind turbine with twin 25 MW rotors mounted on a V-shaped tower, more than double the capacity of any existing floating turbine. The design draws from Mingyang's existing Ocean-X platform and aims for mass production in Guangdong starting in 2026, scaling to 150 units per year.
