Physics limits

Floating structures are expensiveMooring systems, anchors and the floating foundation cost far more than a simple bottom-fixed tower. Per-megawatt costs fall as units get larger, but remain higher than fixed offshore.

Twin rotors double the power

Two medium rotors on one tower spin independently at 25 MW each, operating at different speeds and angles.

Floating foundation

Anchored to the seabed

The structure floats, tethered by cables to anchors on the seabed. Floating allows deployment in water too deep for fixed towers.

V-shape

Tower geometry for stability

The tower splays outward in a V, spreading the rotors and mass to lower the centre of gravity and resist wave and wind loads in typhoons and storms.
