IonQ begins trading on the NYSE after its SPAC merger

IonQ closed its merger with the SPAC dMY Technology Group III on September 30, 2021, and began trading on the NYSE under the ticker IONQ on October 1. The transaction provided IonQ with gross proceeds of about $636 million. It became the first publicly traded pure-play quantum computing company.
