CarbonCure says its producers have saved 500,000 tonnes of CO2

CarbonCure reported that concrete producers using its system had saved over 500,000 tonnes of CO2 across 7.5 million truckloads in more than two dozen countries. The saving comes from injected CO2 mineralizing in concrete and from the lower cement dose possible at the same strength.

• 500,000+ tonnes of CO2 saved across 7.5 million truckloads in more than two dozen countries; equivalent to removing 117,600 cars from the road annually.
• CarbonCure injects captured CO2 into concrete; the CO2 mineralizes and becomes permanent while letting producers reduce cement volume at equivalent strength.
• The process improves concrete durability and reduces embodied carbon per cubic metre of concrete produced.
