Cadillac Lyriq begins customer deliveries; Chevy Bolt EUV arrives in August
Cadillac began customer deliveries of the Lyriq electric SUV in July 2021, marking the start of production for the first Ultium-platform vehicles. The Chevy Bolt EUV arrived at dealerships in August 2021. Both vehicles use the Ultium platform with flexible battery packs and shared motors and electronics, achieving significant cost reduction versus prior EV generations.
