Base activates Flashblocks, streaming 200 ms sub-blocks on mainnet

Base activated Flashblocks on mainnet on July 17, 2025, built with Flashbots, streaming 200-millisecond sub-blocks inside its normal 2-second blocks for near-instant transaction confirmation. Flashblocks had been tested on Sepolia testnet since February 2025 and target trading, games, and social applications.
