Technical approach
Capturing CO2 from cement kiln exhaust
CO2 from limestone calcination and fuel burning is captured from hot exhaust using chemical absorbent, concentrated for compression.
CO2 stored under the North Sea
Captured CO2 is liquefied, shipped to Norway's coast, piped 2,600 km to permanent geological storage under the North Sea.
Carbon Bank tracking and DNV assurance
Every tonne independently verified by DNV Business Assurance. Customers see exactly how much CO2 was stored.
