Wave reports dosing under way in the multidose Phase 2a part of WVE-007's INLIGHT trial

In its second-quarter 2026 update, Wave said dosing has started in the multidose Phase 2a portion of the INLIGHT trial of WVE-007. The portion enrolls adults with higher body weight, with and without type 2 diabetes, in the US and Europe, and follows them for 12 months. The company also said more INLIGHT data, including from the 600 mg single-dose cohort, are expected in the second half of 2026.

• Participants are assessed for body weight, waist size, body composition, liver fat, HbA1c and lipids over 12 months.
• The release gives no dose levels, dosing schedule or number of doses for the multidose portion.
• Wave expects to start Phase 2 trials of WVE-007 in combination and maintenance settings in the second half of 2026.
• An investor day with pipeline updates is planned for fall 2026.
