Walrus marks one year on mainnet with 467 TB stored and 200+ projects building
In its first year Walrus stored 467 TB of data, which the team says makes it the second-largest decentralized storage network by data held. Esports group Team Liquid moved 250 TB of footage onto it, the largest single dataset, and over 200 projects are building on it.
- 467 TB of unencoded data stored in year one.
- Team Liquid: 250 TB; data firm Allium: 65 TB.
- New tools: Seal access control and Quilt, which bundles up to 660 small files into one storage unit.
- Next focus: persistent, verifiable data for AI agents.
