Velo3DSapphire

Metal 3D-printer maker Velo3D reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $20.7 million, up 52.3% from $13.6 million a year earlier, and its gross margin turned positive at 21.5% from -11.7%. It raised full-year revenue guidance to $65–75 million from $60–70 million. It is still losing money, but the margin swing and a much stronger balance sheet mark a turnaround in its finances.

  • GAAP net loss narrowed to $11.5M from $13.3M; new bookings were $29M and backlog $31M.
  • Cash rose to $91.1M from $39.0M at end-2025; debt was cut by over 70% to $8.2M through share sales and debt conversions.
  • Targets for H2 2026: gross margin above 30% and positive EBITDA.
  • A new Livermore, California campus, expected to open later in 2026, should triple production capacity and become its main factory.
