Urenco USA brings its second new cascade online ahead of schedule

Urenco/Urenco USA Eunice expansion

A second new centrifuge cascade began producing at Urenco USA's plant in Eunice, New Mexico, ahead of schedule, following the first in May. Together they are part of a 700,000 SWU expansion, about 15% more capacity at the site, due by 2027.

• Second new cascade of the expansion; the first came online in May 2025.
• Programme: 700,000 SWU between 2025 and 2027, a 15% increase at Eunice.
• Eunice is the only commercial uranium enrichment plant in the US.
