Unitree launches the G1 humanoid at about 99,000 yuan
Unitree unveiled the G1, a 127 cm humanoid priced at ~$16,000 (99,000 yuan), far below its earlier H1 at $90,000. It runs ~2 hours on a swappable battery and walks at 2 m/s. Unitree cut cost by reducing wires, chips and screws and manufacturing its own motors.
