Panasonic postpones full output at its Kansas battery plant as Tesla demand softens

Days before the official opening, Panasonic said it would push back the date for full production at De Soto. The plant had aimed for about 30 GWh a year by the end of March 2027; weaker Tesla demand and the coming end of US EV tax credits made that target too early.
