ONWARD starts Empower BP, a 60-person pivotal study of implanted ARC-IM to manage blood pressure after spinal cord injury

ONWARD Medical initiated Empower BP, a randomised double-blinded pivotal study of the implanted ARC-IM neuromodulation system for unstable blood pressure in chronic spinal cord injury, enrolling about 60 people across the US and Canada. The study started on 17 October 2025 with the primary endpoint at 3 months; blood pressure instability affects over 50% of spinal cord injury patients.
