Next-generation CORI XT performs its first knee and shoulder cases

Smith+Nephew reported the first clinical cases with CORI XT, its next-generation handheld robot meant to cover partial to revision knee, hip and both types of shoulder replacement. Knee cases were done at NYU Langone and shoulder cases at Duke Health and an Arizona outpatient surgery centre.
- First knee cases: Dr. Ran Schwarzkopf at NYU Langone Health.
- First shoulder cases: Duke Health and North Valley Surgery Center, Scottsdale.
- Hip application still in development; no launch date given.
