FDA clears hip navigation software for CORI, taking the robot into total hip replacement

Smith+Nephew's RI.HIP NAVIGATION software received FDA 510(k) clearance for use on CORI, extending the knee robot to total hip replacement. Installs began at a few US hospitals and surgery centres, with broad availability planned later in 2022.
