Meta released Muse Glimmer, a 30-billion-parameter open-weight model tuned for tool use, coding and long agent tasks, under the permissive Apache 2.0 licence. Compressed to about 4 bits it fits in under 20 GB, so it runs on one consumer GPU or a Mac. It is Meta's first open release since Muse Spark replaced Llama as its main model line.
