Meta releases Muse Spark 1.2 and Muse Code, a terminal coding agent
Meta launched Muse Code in beta, a command-line coding agent for macOS and Linux that handles large multi-file changes across big repositories, running background sub-agents through a session. It runs on the new Muse Spark 1.2, a coding-focused update trained with much more compute on coding tasks. The model is also offered through the Meta Model API.
- Muse Spark 1.2 was co-trained with Muse Code on its own successful runs; Muse Spark 1.1 generated harder coding environments and grading rules for it
- Muse Code logs every event locally, so a run can be replayed exactly or restarted after a crash
- Built-in commands include /plan (a plan you approve before code is written) and /goal (work until an objective is met)
- Meta published no pricing
