At Connect 2026 Meta shows Muse agent features: voice and video chat, desktop control, glasses support
At Connect 2026 Meta showed new features for its Muse agent: a personal avatar for real-time video chat, control of any app on a Mac so tasks continue after you walk away, wake-word use on Meta's smart glasses, and soon its own email address for delegated work. Meta plans to make money by taking a small fee on transactions Muse completes.
- The avatar runs on a new Muse Realtime Avatar model
- Glasses support (workouts, meal logging, bookings, shopping) is due in the coming months; the email address "soon"
- Partners include Stripe, Shopify, PayPal, Best Buy, Walmart, Wayfair, Expedia, Instacart, GitHub and Notion
- Meta opened a platform for custom connectors and got 1,500+ applications in under a week
- Zuckerberg expects Muse to grow into "personal superintelligence"
