Meta agrees to support development of up to eight Natrium units

TerraPower

TerraPower and Meta agreed to develop up to eight Natrium advanced reactor plants. Meta funds early development of two units and holds energy rights to up to six more, providing access to up to 2.8 GW of baseload power (4 GW with integrated storage), with first units as early as 2032.

  • Each Natrium reactor delivers 345 MW baseload power plus 500 MW for over 5 hours with storage.
  • Up to 8 units could supply 2.8 GW baseload (4 GW with storage).
  • Meta funds two initial units; first units targeted for 2032.
  • TerraPower's first commercial Natrium plant expected to complete in 2030.
